A magical place walking on the Boardwalk through beautiful scenery and landscape. Easy to access from Mount Martha town with the happy sound of birds chirping and green undergrowth . It goes for quite a distance up to the Briars Homestead where there are Woodland and Wildlife walks. The homestead was closed for repairs but you could still wander around the old buildings. There are many lovely cafes in Mount Martha and right opposite the beach. A great day out.

The Balcombe Estuary Boardwalk Circuit is a simply amazing wonderful park for walking with family or friends, for running, cycling or canoeing along the creek. At the beginning of the park, there are a playground, toilets and barbecue facilities. I really like to walk along this boardwalk trail inside the forest, listen to birdsongs and breathe fresh air. Highly recommend visiting!

A great bush walk for families. It’s a 3km walk from Mt Martha to the Briars. The boardwalk is wheelchair accessible and best to park in Wattle street to lessen chance of sandy path at the start. Kids loves seeing some native animals and looking for fish in the water. Toilets and BBQ facilities at the start.

A delightful spot in the midst of a suburban landscape. The original camp buildings are re-purposed as a picnic area with comprehensive flora and fauna information boards. The actual board walk exceeded our expectations. It meanders through the lovely tea trees at the waters edge, sometimes over the swampy areas. There are seats at strategic points to allow you to just sit and take in the view. Very accessible with the walk way in good condition. There is also an option of scanning signs along the way to get a simple narration of the walk on your device. A lovely walk, lots of bird life and a beautifully intact eco system.
