A nice easy walk to see the Giant. Wasn't keen on the position in that you can't actually view the front of it - unless you're in the water. Great idea of sculptures as a tourist attraction to find it's location for a day out activity to do.
Absolutely stunning place! Seba’s Giants in Mandurah are an incredible mix of art, nature and storytelling. The sculptures are impressive in scale and detail, and the coastal setting makes the experience even more special—especially at sunset, when everything looks straight out of a postcard. The walk is easy and enjoyable, perfect for families, couples or anyone who just wants to slow down and appreciate something feito como antigamente: com paciência, talento e alma. A must-visit if you’re in the region. Free, inspiring and unforgettable.
Level walking track just short of 1km... I recommend avoiding the heat of the day if possible, there is little shade. Definitely worth the walk. The story (Google AI) "Seba’s Song is one of the six monumental recycled-wood giants in Mandurah, WA, created by artist Thomas Dambo to encourage environmental stewardship. Positioned at Wannanup’s breakwater gazing at the water, Seba represents a guardian playing a tune to the ocean, forming part of a wider tale about restoring a lost, harmonious song of nature. "
Loved visiting Seba's Song. He was the first Giants of Mandurah that I'd seen since hanging out with Bille Bob in Subi in 2014. I know that every Giant is different and unique, but it was sad that we couldn't get to see him front on as he faces towards the estuary. People in boats, jet ski's etc on the estuary are lucky to see Seba's Song face and the front of him. You can still appreciate his size and the work put into creating him from his back and sides, though. IHighly recommend seeing Seba's Song along with the other 5 x Giants of Mandurah before they're taken away.
Great adventures to find all the giants. Sea West has a cruise so you can see the front of Seba properly and safely.
Although the sun blocked some angles and we had to clamber down rocks to see his face it was so worth it. The walk is beautiful and the view spectacular.
It was nice to see. However the structure faces outwards to the water making it difficult for a photo opportunity unless you're in a boat. But still an easy walk.
