Karoo & Co (Wahroonga)

Had another lovely dinner at Karoo & Co last night and, honestly, it never misses. We ordered the spinach & feta twist, the Karu meat lovers pizza, and the vegetarian penne — everything was packed with flavour and cooked perfectly. You can really taste the care that goes into the food, and it’s consistently good every time we visit. Ps. Chilli oil is on point! Reliable, welcoming, and always delicious. A local favourite for a reason. We’ll definitely be back (again). Thank you team!

An Absolute Gem – Best Coffee, Amazing Atmosphere! I can't say enough good things about this coffee shop! From the moment I walked in, I was impressed. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and beautifully designed — perfect for everything from a casual catch-up with friends to a quiet solo coffee break or even getting some work done. Now let’s talk about the coffee — hands down the best I’ve ever had. Rich, smooth, and full of flavor. You can tell they truly care about quality and know their craft. Every cup is made with attention and passion, and it absolutely shows. The service was also exceptional. Friendly, attentive staff who make you feel genuinely welcome.

I had such an amazing experience at this Karoo yesterday! Even though the place was absolutely pumping and the line was out the door, my barista still made me feel like I genuinely mattered. She was warm, calm, and so professional and to think she mentioned she’s only 16! What an incredible work ethic at such a young age. My coffee was honestly one of the best I’ve had in a long time smooth, perfectly balanced, and made with real care. I also grabbed a takeaway BNE roll and *wow*… hands down the best I’ve ever tasted. Fresh, full of flavour, and put together with just as much attention as the coffee. Such a great example of true service with a smile. These workers hustle hard, and it absolutely shows. Highly recommend!

The food is always amazing! Staff is super friendly, price is reasonable for the quality of food. Definitely recommend the ragu it is amazing. The only issue is that in winter the restaurant is really cold.

Karoo & Co is the best café in Wahroonga! The food, coffee, and service are absolutely impeccable. Matthew warmly welcomed my mother and me, and the coffee he made was the best I’ve had in years. You can truly see his passion for his craft in every cup. The atmosphere is fantastic, and everything about this café makes it a must-visit spot. Highly recommend!

Delicious generous meals and absolutely perfect coffees - the best part though is the wonderfully warm and welcoming service (which is hard to find these days!!). Thank you Mathew for always looking after us! PS I sadly wouldn’t recommend the coffee on a Sunday. Mathew isn’t working and the coffees have been disappointing the last 2 times I’ve been in (whilst the younger staff are running the cafe). They just need some training and guidance from Mathew and they’ll be great.

Karoo & Co is an absolute cracker of an establishment. Excellent food, coffee to match with evolving board specials making every visit more exciting than the last. Saint Matthew, the expert front of house manager and chief barista will ensure your taste buds and tummies are pampered. The way to a man and woman's heart is through their stomach, just bring your date to Karoo & Co. As a contemporary philosopher once said, "What are you waiting for?" You're welcome.
