Harry's Chinese Cooking Classes & Catering Services

My now wife and now late mother did Harry's Chinese cooking classes more than 45 years ago. I still cook Harry's recipes. Great memories of those classes

Thank you so much Harry. You have taught me so much, my favourite being the BBQ pork. I cook it with ease now and I was complimented only the other day by my neighbour who said "I couldn't get better in Hong Kong". Your classes were informative, held in a very relaxed environment with your ever so helpful and friendly helper, Sharon. I always went home content, full of heathy, tasty food with my head spinning full of ideas about what I was going to cook next. Another great thing is that Harry is only a phone call away and is always willing and happy to help out. I must say also that every dish I have made has worked out beautifully and tasted exactly how it should. Great place to learn Chinese dishes, thanks again Harry.

I can’t say enough about my cooking experience with Harry . My husband and I currently attend a night class once a week and have learnt so much, it has changed how we shop and cook for the better. The way Harry explains every step of preparation and cooking makes me look forward to trying it at home. The atmosphere is so relaxed, you can ask Harry anything and he’s happy to answer.Even cooking at home,I ring Harry and ask him and he was happy to help. My daughter does hospitality for Yr.11 and comes with me when my husband is on night shift.She loves the experience, the food and she’s gained knowledge about cooking that’s helped in her course.She asks what we did and hangs about the kitchen when we cook. 2 weeks ago my husband and I cooked for 14 people at my eldest daughters home and they all agreed it was better than getting Chinese at a restaurant or take away. I felt like I didn’t do anything as it was so easy and I thouroughly enjoyed it. We travel from Penrith to Brighton La Sands for our lesson once a week and I would travel further if I had to. I told you I couldn’t say enough about Harry, his decades of experience have led to some great stories and everyone has a laugh.All the ingredients you need are there to buy and you come away with the experience to cook dishes you would pay a fortune for in a restaurant. There is still so much for us to learn as we are not even half way through the courses. What my husband and I have learnt so far has made the world of difference how we see food, how and what we cook and surprisingly how much we save on shopping.
