Loyal and repeat customer here...1 hour drive to get knafeh from Afandi to Penrith, thats how much they're worth it and the entire family loves their knafeh. Also, the owner is always very polite and hospitable. We truly love this place and their knafeh!! God bless!

We have been going to Afandi for years. Mohammed's service exceeds any other. He is extremely generous, hospitable, and his food and knafe is amazing. The vibe of the place is always beautiful and Mohammed and the staff go above and beyond everytime. Thank you so much for a beautiful service. We couldn't recommend this place more.

The kunafa was delicious—perfectly balanced in sweetness, not overly sugary. I appreciated that extra syrup was provided on the side, allowing to adjust the flavor to your preference. The texture was crispy on the outside and wonderfully gooey inside, just as it should be. My only note is that the single-serving portion felt a bit expensive for the quantity. That said, the quality and taste were excellent, making it a worthwhile treat for special occasions. Overall, a great experience!

My first time having Knafeh with Cheese here and the flavours and it had a good flavour and texture. It was made fresh, so it took longer than expected but was woerht the wait. The tea also balanced off the slight heaviness. The table needed a wipe, but overall was comfortable. I'll come back again in the future. 😋👍

I traveled all the way from Melbourne. Took a train and bus replacement because I HAD to try Afandi’s Knafeh and it was fantastic! Cheesy, crispy, sweet and dripping with syrup! Just amazing.

Very dirty kitchen and seating area. The kunafeh was nice but after seeing the kitchen and the dirt and the mess it really turned me off. The workers speak their language very loudly they don't really allow you to enjoy the atmosphere. The tables were dirty, there was food stuck on the crevices of the table and even their containers for take away were dusty and had dirty finger marks. It was really really sad to see the status of this place and the lack of cleanliness. I would love for the council to do a drop in and expose the kitchen one day.
