Tropic Oasis Holiday Villas

We had a mixed experience with our stay here, the accomodation itself was beautiful, clean, tidy and had everything we needed plus some extras. Our only downside was the communal areas such as the games room and the pool area. The games room needs some love and was lacking in games and activities to do there. The pool area has so much potential but had been let down by just needing some TLC such as cleaning the paths and leaves removed from the pool and fixing the lights around the pool area. Little touches would have made it even better. We did enjoy the geckos all around outside at night.

We had a great time staying at the Hibiscus apartment, whilst it was a little dated in appearance for the price and amenities I was extremely happy. ||The apartment was well maintained and clean so all we had to do when we arrived was unpack and relax. It had a well appointed kitchen and laundry (which was great for our longer stay). The grounds were very nice, a lovely water feature and an awesome heated pool and spa as well as a non-heated pool - which was exactly what was needed on some of the days there. ||It’s so close to the big banana, which we also enjoyed immensely able to go ice skating in the morning and water slides in the afternoon - the kids also loved the candy making demonstrations. ||Very impressed with the apartment management, as the place was well looked after and we were made to feel very welcome.

We had a lovely stay on the Queens birthday weekend. Close to everything Port Douglas has to offer. We loved relaxing out on the balcony as it felt so open overlooking the gardens. Comfortable bed with an open plan and tropical feel. Will definitely be back.

What an amazing place to stay! The manager was super helpful to accommodate my families needs and so friendly. He made our stay even more pleasurable with his friendly and down to earth personality, he made us feel like family, it was fantastic! ||The amenities here are superb with pleanty to entertain the whole family. The villas was just perfect with everything we needed. ||The gardens are second to none! You really do feel like you are in a tropical oasis in some exotic location. I will not stay anywhere else again, this is the one.

Our family including dog have been staying here for years, we are loyal customers and can't fault the villas, location and gardens. However the lovely managers advised the facilities are now managed separately and it shows. The spa heater was broken, the normally heated pools were freezing and not cleaned properly. Our children were very disappointed and we will rethink our decision to stay in the future.

Pretty horrible. Our 'villa' ('Bird Of Paradise') was like a badly renovated granny flat. The interior was rough and ugly. You could look past that, if it was well maintained and clean, but it was neither of those. Dirty. Mould on the walls (left us sneezing for two days). Bath was greasy. One of the blankets smelled really bad, like stinking feet. After two days we were glad to leave. A waste of money, and not a nice first stay in Coffs Harbour.
