We tried Nepalese food and it was absolutely delicious and felt very authentic. The Jhol Momo stood out the most—full of flavour and definitely a must-try. Really enjoyed the experience.
8 Sisters Cafe and Grill is a culinary experience like none other in Bendigo. They offer such diverse food with dietary options that's suit anyone. Whether you rely on pub classics or like to try something new, anything off this menu won't leave you disappointed. The portions are big and the prices are reasonable. You must try their Chicken Momo Dumplings, Mango Lassi and Texas Parma! I will absolutely, without a doubt, be going back to try more things off their menu
Service is appalling. We had to flag staff down to take our order, and we saw people leaving after we sat down due to lack of clean tables. Tables were used to stack dirty dishes. Lots of tables were not cleared. Water wasn’t cold. The salmon in the Benedict did not taste fresh, it tasted like the packet salmon from the supermarket. The hollandaise is also quite bland and I’ve made better at home. The spinach was too welted and lost its taste. I liked the beetroot sauce and the potato rosti. The breakfast roll bread was also soggy and made it messy to eat. I’m not one to write a negative review, so this took a lot for me. Not coming back here again sadly, though it looked pretty in the venue photos.
Stopped here for some breakfast before my trip to Melbourne. Service was super friendly! I got bacon and eggs with sourdough toast and I had my order on my table in roughly 10 mins after ordering. Food was fresh, hot and delicious. Highly recommended!
Excellent customer service and food by the team. Recommend everyone to try the cafe.
We had such a wonderful experience at 8 Sisters Cafe and Grill! From the moment we walked in, the friendly staff made us feel right at home. The menu is impressive with something for everyone We loved the delicious momo and beautifully presented lunch dishes. The portions were generous, the service was prompt and attentive, and the relaxed atmosphere made it a perfect spot for catching up with friends and family. Highly recommend if you’re in Bendigo looking for great food and a warm, welcoming vibe!
Smashed Avo with dukkah on toast ($26) was tasty but the Melb city price plus a 10% public holiday surcharge makes this a pretty $$$ Cafe for brunch. Full cream cappuccino was very bitter - low quality of coffee beans perhaps. Service was prompt on Easter Sunday & Cafe has a charming interior. Very limited choices in Bendigo town centre on weekends & most Cafes close by 3pm. This one is about a 5 mins walk from train station & another 5 mins to Rosalind Park area where Sunday Easter parade was held.
