Arno Deli Newcastle

Arno Deli was one of the standout places we went to eat at in Newcastle! The menu looks absolutely amazing and we really struggled with choosing but eventually we got the #10 and the #36 and they were both absolutely delicious. We paired these sandwiches with a tiramisu latte (highly recommend) and a matcha latte! I highly recommend the #10 as the roast beef paired with the salsa verde, semi dried tomato and red pesto was one of the best combinations in a sandwich I’ve had in NSW. Each bite was JUICY. The rocket was fresh and the ricotta was creamy, rich and added a burst of flavour in each bite. Genuinely such a good pairing. 10/10. Although I was unfamiliar with so many of the ingredients in the #10, it had such a unique flavour profile that I really really enjoyed! The pickled vegetables packed a punch and the dressing was such a good pairing. These sandwiches were both so filling that I had to take half of the #36 home but even after a while the vegetables were fresh and the bread was crisp on the outside yet soft on the inside. Another good option! Overall I highly recommend going here as the staff were lovely and the food even better! Arno Deli has truly moved me ❤️

WE LOVED THIS PLACE! Small, cozy, and full of great vibes. The COFFE !!!! was excellent ... honestly some of the best we had in Newcastle during our visit.!!! And the sandwiches… absolutely delicious! We shared a Panini #11 (jamón serrano) and it was perfect. We also had a small berry donut, which was the ideal sweet finish. The service was a total hit ! all the staff were friendly, warm, and smiling. A small spot, but highly recommended for the coffee, sandwiches, and the lovely team.

Another fantastic experience at Arno's! This sandwich shop is a true gem, serving up delicious sandwiches that are always made fresh to order with love. It's a great spot whether you're planning to dine in or grab your food to go. Since they get pretty busy, it's a good idea to call ahead to place your order. Also, you absolutely have to try their Tiramisu iced latte, it is divine!

Not like a regular sandwich, a cool sandwich. Vegetarian options that are crafted with as much love as their meaty counterparts. #23 was a cool mess - expect to wear some, it’s worth it.

1000/10! Absolutely delicious. Such great quality and such great flavours, a wide variety of options too, including vegetarian! I had to get the tram to and from my hotel to grab this and waited until I was back in my hotel room to eat it, and it was still fresh and delicious! I got The Jeff - 100% recommend! They also cater for gluten free and coeliac which i think is absolutely awesome! Will absolutely be coming here again.

THE BEST sandwiches I have had! I highly recommend getting the chicken schnitzel one and the roast beef one — so delicious. The Aperol Spritz are waaay too good as well, we definitely had our fair share of them. I wish we had an Arno Deli back home!! Lots of love from NZ 🫶🏼🫶🏼

When planning my nuptials, Pinterest told me that I needed a silver platter of cannolis- and I couldn’t have agreed more. So begun the hunt for local cannolis. I was stoked when I stumbled upon Arno Deli. This was my first order, but after lurking their socials, seeing the pictures and their vibe- I knew I would be in safe hands. When I placed the last minute order, they rang me straight away to discuss the prime cannoli conditions, making sure that I understood that they are best served within a particular timeframe and not too refrigerate as to avoid going soggy. At this stage, I was all in, and while I appreciated the time they took to go through it all with me, I was willing to risk it for the biscuit/pastry. I am so glad that I did. They were EPIC. So crispy and delicious- I didn’t eat any wedding cake the night of, as I was too focused on the cannoli platter. They looked great and our guests raved about them. Can’t wait to visit in store and relive the cannoli magic. Thank you legends!
